DJ Idea Sharing has been a leading resource within the DJ community for 22 years. As the years have gone by the movement has grown with expanded offerings and this has included a Youtube channel. Recently equipment product reviews have become very popular as several independent DJs have tried to grow a following on their own Youtube network. But with a facebook group of almost 13.5k members DJ Idea Sharing is in a perfect position to lead the industry with its reach and influence!

In August 2023 it was announced that audio gear-head Tony Fernandez was coming on board to review audio and technology based products. Tony kicked off with a review of the awesome Denon Prime GO as well as several seminars about decibels and audio. A partnership with NLFX Professional and Music Trends was also secured to provide new gear for reviews to benefit the DJ industry.

And now the latest addition to our Youtube crew is the self proclaimed “Nerd DJ” himself, Brent Schmidt. Brent is a very accomplished and experienced lighting professional and will be offering reviews on the latest and greatest lighting effects! In fact, with the support of Chauvet DJ it is expected to have a very deep chain of great product to demonstrate and expose to our members at DJ Idea Sharing.

Brent was a presenter at the 2023 Lighting Symposium and most recently was a featured speaker at DJX23 in Atlantic City. It is very exciting to have Brent join the team and will certainly offer some tremendous video footage for the channel.
